>Recital Corporation announces Microsoft .NET initiative
>Danvers (MA), March 21, 2001 — Recital Corporation today announced a Microsoft .NET development initiative to provide Microsoft FoxPRO users with a fully web-enabled .NET platform. Utilizing the Microsoft .NET framework classes, Recital Mirage .NET, being developed in C# will enable Microsoft FoxPRO applications to run on the web in a browser "as is".
>
>"Recital Mirage .NET embraces the Microsoft .NET platform and will provide complete support for running FoxPRO applications on the web. Unlike ASP.NET, Recital Mirage .NET will enable FoxPRO developers to deploy interactive applications with little to no additional development effort." said Barry Mavin, CEO.
>
>Recital Mirage .NET is a redevelopment of the Recital Mirage (Java) product that enables FoxPRO and FoxBASE applications to run in a Java enabled browser on the web. A live demonstation of this product can be found at http://www.recital.com/mirage_demo_page.htm
>
>Recital Mirage .NET will be available towards the end of 2001.
