We're looking for an email server to run under Windows 2000 Server on a box whose primary role is as a Web server. The email requirements are quite basic and small at this time. Exchange Server is certainly a possibility, but it is probably overkill in this case. One Windows 2000 administration book that I have read mentions the EMWAC Internet Mail Services product, which is a free email server for Windows NT/2000. Knowing that you often get what you pay for, I'm interested in reports from the field: has anyone here had any experience with EMWAC IMS, specifically under Windows 2000, and if so what can you say about it?
