There's really nothing you can do if their email client is formatting your email and it only accepts plain text. I guess the best you could do is put an explanation in the email about how they should cut and paste the line back together in the address bar of their browser and then hit enter. Not very elegant but if they're using crappy email software that's all you can do. I don't know any email clients that won't accept HTML though.
