Hi

I use FoxFix in my system and it is called by my error routine if I get the "not a database file" error. I then warn the user of the condition and if they choose to allow the program to fix the problem I proceed to correct the error and then cary on with the normal functions of my application. I have used it for years this way without problems. My application runs in a multi-user networked environment.

Thanks
Simon White

>>>Finally convinced my boss to buy FoxFix. Well I have spent several hours reading and playing and it is not very intuitive. At least not for someone who does not have a good understanding of the file structures.

Yes it does work on VFP6 DBC/DBF's, although I only have free tables. But FoxFix does have a DLL where you can have your app either report errors or fix errors. I am trying to determine if I should let FoxFix report or fix the errors.
