Hi Robin,

What you need to do is have your application overwrite FOXFIRE.INI in the FoxFire Root Directory and contain the name of the FoxFire preference set that you want to use. This must be done each time FoxFire is called. The file must contain 1 line of text that matches an entry in the PF_NAME field of the FFPREFER table. This is how FoxFire knows which preference set to use as the default.

Hope this helps,
Gavin...

>I am attempting to set up fox fire to be used with our current FoxPro application and I want the user to be placed in a Preference set automatically, depending on who they are. I would like this process to be automatic, pulling the user id from the system file where the login information is stored.
