There are known issues with Netware 5 and FoxPro tables. Go to www.novell.com and search the knowledgebase for FoxPro. You'll get several articles that describe solutions for you.

>Please forgive the long post, and please read this if you think you can help in any way. I am DESPERATE for help!! I have called Microsoft product support and they tell me Foxpro 2.5 for Windows is no longer a supported product.
>
>Situation is:
>5 Win 98 clients connect to an ntserver running our application which is written in Foxpro 2.5 for Windows.
>
>In the above situation alone there are no problems.

>When connected to a Novell 5.1 server which is using TCP/IP users of our app get "File Write Error" - randomly, say 4 times a day. They can be doing different things in our app.
>
>Recently, out of desperation, I removed all CONFIG.FPW and FOXW2500.ESL files from all pc's and just had one copy in the main data directory on the server.
>
>It now seems that the file write errors have stopped, but are replaced by "Unable to process error" error messages. When clicking onto the OK button a few times, you get an illegal operation error, clicking on the details button reveals that FOXPROW caused a general protection fault in module unknown.
>
>
>Has anyone had experience of this?
>Why do you think that only having a copy of FOXW2500.ESL in the main data directory would change the error message
>DO YOU KNOW HOW TO FIX IT?? PLEASE!!!
