They both co-exist now in the beta so there is no reason to believe they won't when released.

It should be that easy. However, you should test your apps first to make sure VFP7 doesn't break something.

Your old DBC container/tables will continue to work. However, you may want to look at the new Database Events. You should definately look at Stonefield Data Tools, which make sending updates to your data a lot easier. Note that Stonefield will have an update sometime after VFP7 ships.
