Hi Cetin,

When you use WORD as an invisible automation server print engine, it is easy to control and a valuable addition to my toolbox. It is only when we serve WORD up as a hybrid (a visible print engine) that we experience the problems that provoked our threads. I now feel that I am in control and would like to thank George for all of the API advise, Tamar for her book and you for all of your sharing, api, vfp and automation expertise. Enjoy your weekend. :-)

Many, Many Thanks
Regards,
Dr. G. (Neil )

>>Hi Cetin,

>>Turn the volumn up on your computer so you can hear the ding when the messagebox comes up. Now run the code below. Open a new document when WORD comes up and then click on format|font. Allow the font dialog to stay on the screen for 20 to 50 seconds. You won't get an ole busy error but you will fall out of the sleep loop. You will hear the ding of the vfp messagebox that proves it.

>>Any thoughts?
