There are many ways to set up a machine. Who is the administrator of SQL Server? You will have to have permission to use the dbo, unless you are the administrator. Do you know how to write a dsn less connection? I am not too sure at what level you are at as far as web development - it can be a bit of a pain to get set up. We may have to go one step at a time. I will see what I can do to help you as time permits.
