Why doesn't a view access Rushmore? All a view is is a select statement that can be updated and saved in the DBC. Check out SYS(3054) - Rushmore Optimization Level.

>MM uses views, buisness objs,data objects to control data. But using local views I cannot get at Rushmore optimazation in the same way that I can using a select statement keyed against the index. How do I use Rushmore within the framework so that I am not breaking the data management objects? Can I do this by creating view programatically?
