Check the colors for the textbox when it is selected. It may be that you have the foreground and background colors the same.

>I have code in the init event of a grid that formats the grid. One of this lines remove the default "text1" textbox and add my custom textbox in each column as "text1". Next sets the activecontrol to "text1" on each column. Also I have code to select the entire row. When the focus is not in the grid, i can see all the values from the each different column in the active row. As soon as the grid get the focus, the value in the active sell disappear and shows only the background. If another control in the form gets the focus, the value appears again. I have debugg to check if the my custom textbox is the one in each column and is correct. What's happenning?
