Has anyone encountered problems when setting the cursor position inside an edit box after set the value of the edit box. (The edit box is read only, in a grid, and its controlsource is an expression)

Whenever I set the value (either by using this.value="x" or replace y with "x" this.refresh) the cursor moves to the end of the line. Basically, I am trying to create my own editor to edit a calculated expression in a grid column. This whole process started when I needed to configure the input mask and function property on a row by row basis.

So right now I am stuck with an editor that kinda works, but whenever you press a letter or backspace, etc, the cursor moves to the end of the line and there seems to be no way of updating the cursor effectively.

Any help would be appreciated.....
