First thanks to all that helped in getting my laptop to boot linux. Now that I can boot I get an error while booting that crashes the boot. I'm using RH 7.0 and during the boot it allows me to interact with the booting sequence. If I type an "I" during the boot I can load only the modules I need. This is how I discovered what was causing the boot failure. When I turned off PCMICA the laptop boots completely. So the question is how do I remove PCMICA from the boot sequence. Or better how do I fix it PCMICA? I don't need PCMICA at this time because my builtin network connection appears to work.
