I solved some of my problem -

CreateFile('c:\mydir\myfile.txt','PRN',0) seems to work fine - There should not be a colon after PRN.

But... Now I can send reports to the Windows default printer. Is there a way in VFP to change the Windows default printer? If have looked for another WinAPI function but could not find one.
