Not too wierd, just working as advertised. The column is tagged as not null on SQL so every row must have a value in the VFP table in the column to be inserted into SQL.

Also, I would be careful about calling a column just 'DATE' as things like Oracle and SQL are much more unforgiving about reserved words.
