This does not assume that at all. I specifically mentioned view requeries and filter setting as functions that would necessitate resetting the logical first record (Form.FirstRecord property).

If someone is using ... hmmm, I dunno ... APPEND FROM to an empty table or SORT or something like that, then I would expect that developer to include code to reset Form.FirstRecord if required.

I mean, I thought I didn't have to spell out every single situation where you'd have to provide reset code....
