Change the DE setting so that the tables are not opened automatically, then after your code in the load event call the OpenTables method.

The code runs, but I get the error "Property Setting will not take effect until data environment reloaded". I am calling the code from the load event of the base form. I could put it in the "Before Read Events" of the DE, but Erik's way is automatic...it globally works on all of your forms because it is in the base forms class (which I like). Any ideas?
