hmmm, well I looked into the registry and unfortunately, the associated index are not being sorted there. Any idea where I can look to find where they are being stored? That surprises me as it would be the perfect place for it. -Rick

>If these would be found in the registry as values, then yes you can pass them as parameters. First set up a DSN thru the Control Panel then look in the Registry to see all the parameters that were created for that DSN. Any pairs in there can be passed in the configuration string -- e.g., ('...;uid=myuserid;pwd=mypassword;server=sid;someparm=someval')
