Thanks for the advice. I am currently work with WordPerfect 8 and getting errors when I instanstiate the PerfectScript object. The first problem is that I would like for WordPerfect to stay hidden, like MS Word when it is called from VFP. The other more serious problem is I get some type of OLE error.

Right now I am trying to use Ole automation and have word convert the WP file for me, then manipulate it in Word. Right now the only way to do this in Word, is interactively. The Open method on the Document object in Word has no means of notifying word top open different file types without prompting.


Any suggestions?
