Excellent thought. I execute that the .prg that reads the config.fpw from several different apps. The app I was testing did have the config.fpw included into the project (which I am glad I found because my entire design was to be able to change the config.fpw to change the behavior of the proc). But still i rebuilt the project and exited VFP twice, so still not sure why the long delay in seeing the updates.
