I am using DHTML forms and some of the queries run longer than the timeout for the users browser. I want to post a message before running the query to tell the user to wait then I want to send the results.
I can't seem to send any html while the form object is still alive. As soon as the form goes away the html pages I sent to the user do get displayed but it is way too late by then. All of the processing is being done from within a method of the form object.
Has anyone found a way around this problem. I am aware of the example on Rick's enterprise page but I can't guarantee the user will be running 2000 on the server. Most of our customers are using NT4 right now.
Thanks...
