Hi Everybody!

Here are some news about the VFP DevCon Connections this May in Orlando, which we are most excited about:

Most importantly, this conference will be the official launch-event of Visual FoxPro 7.0! This means that for the first time since the introduction of Visual FoxPro 6.0 several years ago, we will actually have a conference that kicks off a brand new product!

As many of you may know, the conference will feature a special two-day seminar (one day is a pre-conference day, the second day runs concurrently with the main show). This seminar is entirely free of cost for VFP DevCon Connections attendees. However, space is limited and will assigned to first signups. And signups have picked up significantly lately, which means in order to ensure your seat, you should book ASAP.

And, as you all know, there are several other conferences at the same time (see Http://www.devconnections.com for more info) that can be visited free of charge by all VFP DevCon attendees.

And besides that main conference, Rick and myself will do a DoubleImpact pre-conference seminar (3 days). This event features a significant amount of new content. It is also the last DoubleImpact event we have currently scheduled. (For more details see Http://www.eps-software.com/DoubleImpact )

And to add a little more spice to this entire event, we will introduce a brand new Visual FoxPro Web Development product code named "Voodoo". If everything goes as planned, we will have a big "Voodoo Party" where all VFP DevCon attendees are invited and will get lots of free stuff.

And yes, before I forget, we will also have the 2001-02 issue of Code Magazine in Orlando.

Hope to see you all in Orlando!

Markus
