Oh, well since you asked. . . .< G > It's only a theory, but I'll be trying it out tomorrow. I've got the same problem with a long running query which pulls data from SQL Server, builds a Word document and returns it to the user. I will check to see the number of records pulled on the initial query, then if it's more than 3, I'll return a custom javascript page that I build on the fly which has a timer on it and a link to the document I'll build in a seperate VFP Process. Sounds good anyway, doesn't it? I'll let you know if it works out tomorrow.
