However, once you purge the files in the hidden directory in Novell, you can't get the files back. If you purge the files from the Recycle Bin, you are out of luck. The biggest difference I know of between the two is that NT gives you more control in that you can turn off the Recycle Bin (which I do). I don't know of a way to turn it off in Novell.

If you delete a file from a NT Server from any workstation in the network, does it go to some Recycle Bin i don't know of??
