Hi Mitch,

It sounds like you have a number of architectural issues beyond a move of the READ EVENTS code that go a lot deeper than a simple response will address. I would recommend Jim Booth's book, Effective Techniques, available at Hentzenwerke. This book will give you a good foundation in VFP application architecture and technique.
