That is interesting. Have not checked out the jobs in Silicon Valley recently, but April of last year, out of 1000 jobs at a job fair, there was one VB and one NT position being offered - everything else was Java. Now, they are telling us that 90,000 .COM'ers have been laid off in our area. President Bush in 1992 was visiting Silicon Valley and asked: "What are you going to do about the 60,000 electronic engineers out of work in Silicon valley" President Bush answered: "There are plenty of jobs at McDonalds".

It helps to have more than one skill set.
