It's a funny thing about laws - they don't really do any good if you don't enforce them. Your right though, marijuana is illegal to grow and use in Canada but the fact the enforcement is very limited results in there being a hugh cultivation industry in Canada that feeds the demand all over the US but especially here on the west coast. I don't know about where you live but there are many ordinary Canadians making seriouse money growing pot in their homes. How many stores in your area specialize in hydroponic growing equipment? How many were there 5 years ago? This will give you a good idea about how many people around you may be growing.
