Java is there in big numbers because it is the latest "big thing". I remember when PowerBuilder and Delphi were the next "big things". Those numbers have dropped off significantly. I remember sitting in college classes 20 years ago hearing that Cobol was dead. Nothing could be further from the truth. Fox is here and will continue to be for many years.
