Thank you. That seems to work just fine. I am a novice at this and my only job has been to convert all of our Fox 2.6 for DOS programs to VFP6.0 programs. This code page issue pops up when we are trying to use the 2.6 tables exclusively in Visual Fox 6.0. When 'SET CPDIALOG OFF' is used, does Visual 6.0 effectively ignore the code page?
