Sorry for the late reply... I am just getting back to speed after some surgery on my feet. Had to stay off them for a couple of weeks.

My beast was assembled from components, to meet my specs, by a local vendor.
The specs were: No Winxxx stuff (WinModem, WinPrinter, etc...) Everything must be bootable by any OS on the market. ... and because I have been using SuSE (linux) exclusively for the past 4 years! Sans WinXX for the past 18 months.
