Windows Registry problem (Help !)

Folks,

I've modified the Registry.PRG that comes with Visual Foxpro 5.0 (Samples, registry.prg) to include a parameter approach of Read and Write. These work fine on Windows 95/98, but there appears to be a problem with Writing and reading the registry under Windows NT 4.0 Build 1381 (SP 6).

The string values that are returned (READ) from the registry seem to be concatenated.
There are no problems in so far as security is concerned. I can write values into the registry using REGEDIT, but my EXE file for accessing these keys return strings that are concatenated with the existing key.
The hive being used is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Company\Version\etc.

Has anyone experienced this problem before ?
Are there any issues/differences with the API Functions RegOpenKeyEx/RegWriteKeyEx in Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 95/98 ?

Any help greatly appreciated.
