It seems like "recruiters" are the same here in Silicon Valley - they suck!!!
As for posted jobs they seem to be full of air - just like the recruiters.

Define more than one plan of action - I have been down this road before. Define all aspects of what you are trying to do in outline form and weigh the pros and cons.

The good news: You are working - this is the best time to sharpen your skills and start looking around for the best opportunity. You can try your hand at consulting on the side while employed at your present job or devote all your spare time towards your next position. I wish you the best and try to keep a balance between you and your family and the outside world.
