If I add a grid to a form with one table in the DE, and do nothing to the grid's settings (except for size), I run the form and the grid is based on the table! I want to begin with a blank grid: no recordsource. It seems that even if i add 'this.recordsource = "" ' tothe init of the grid, once the real recordsource is set later in code, the grid still has columns named after the fields in the table in the DE. How can I prevent the grid from attaching itself to a table in the DE?
