I am upgrading my system from VFP5 to VFP6 and am having _MORE_ than my fair share of C5 errors.

I am thinking it is at least in part due to some environment-dependent stuff. (Although I learned that you can't requery a local view tied to a grid in the INIT() of that grid, and that's not just me!)

I'm currently running a Win98 machine on a Novell 5.1 network. 256 MB RAM. AMD Athalon 1.2 GHz chip. Currently using everything local - code and data.

Anyway, I've tried :
1. booting up in safe mode to see if maybe I was having video driver problems. 2. running VFP with the -A switch to ignore registry settings
3. uninstalling printers
4. falling back to SP3
5. Running on Win95 machine
6. Running on Win98 machine
7. Uninstalling / reinstalling VFP.

So far I've been able to eliminate some problems caused by printer drivers, but still having C5's.

Does anyone know of some other things to try to narrow this thing down to at least what's causing the conflict? I can switch out pretty much any piece of hardware, get new device drivers or whatever, but I just don't know how to figure out where the problem lies!
