We store the path in a table local to the client.

If our app doesn't find the table, or the path stored in the table no longer points to the right place, we prompt the user to pick the dbc using GETFILE().

We put this logic in the onSetEnv routine in the cFoxApp class of Visual Extend's framework, which basically sets the help file, date format and the path.
