I want to give you a thoughtful answer, so it may take several tries.

My main focus (obsession?) is to migrate a large, commercial, desktop app from FPD 2.6 to the modern world without having to start from scratch. So what I really need is a migration path or tool that allows my app to continue to work as I gradually make it more VFP-like. I even spent over a year writing a migrator program that wasn't too bad, but finally decided that I prefer data to reside in SQL server.
