Fond memories, huh. Back then I used to cruise around in a '69 Pontiac Firebird convertible with a Hurst three-on-the-floor power shifter. (I still have it. I keep it a giant plastic bag in my father's garage.) Back then I had aspirations of becomming a fiction writer. The year after graduation I drifted around Europe with a backpack and a typewriter. Wrote two lousy novels and a ton of short stories. I ended up working as a journalist before I fell into programming.
