I personally run Citrix (Winframe and now Win2000/Metaframe) to provide access to my Foxpro Dos and VFP apps for users not on my LAN. All my data is in Fox dbf's. I am happy with the results I have.

Your situation seems different, however. You apparently have a requirement to move from a VFP system accessing foxpro tables to data on SQL server. That said, the most scalable solution is likely ASP or some true client-server app rather than the thin-client approach of Citrix.

One advantage Cirtix may have, however, is allowing you to keep your current VFP front end while focusing on the data access changes you must make. If your development time frame is limited this may be the best approach.
