FoxTalk is more technical and advanced than Advisor, but I would recommend both magazines.

As far as reading material, currently Hentzenwerke.com seems to be the only publisher with an active interest in VFP books. You should get your hands on as many of their books as possible (especially the hackers guide, fundamentals, and Effective Techniques).

Additionally, the UT and the fox.wikis.com are excellent reading material.
