Yes it makes perfect sense. I had mistakenly interpreted your original message as your wanting Crystal to access VFP data through ODBC. Given that you are trying to login to SQL Server, the direction you want to head in is perfectly understandable. Our shop is only using VFP's native data engine for our app.
