Thank you for responding.

I tried including config.fpw in the build and marking it *external*, because I want the end user to be able to edit the TMPFILES settings.

However this does not work, as calls to SYS(2019) returns empty.

Up till now the only way I can change the temporary files settings, SYS(2023), is to go into the Properties under My Computer and in the System Variables List box, change the System's TEMP and TMP environment variables.

If you (or anyone else reading this) can think of something else to try or if you can confirm that this in fact is what happens I would be most greatful.
