Jose, the benefit of sticking to MS GUI standard over
giving more intuitive / suitable for the job solutions
is debatable (here we go again <g>)
it is true using standard controls will make experienced
window users feel at home
but if the application u make is the main tool ur users use
,IMHO, building a better MMI leads to better productivity
and for ease of use.
again , there are many cases (e.g applications that should sell off-the-shelf) that sticking to windows standards is more than recomended
