What happens if your report has couple >lines more after this $7997.00. Besides, the other price values don't have >the $ ahead, so... are you sure that the last line is in the same band as >the others? > >Ha, maybe it is NOT Fortran compatible ! :) > >the dollar sign I added manually and shouldn't have. >You want me to adjust the #lines/page? How do I? The point was "where did the $ got added" - in the .frx, in the resulting file, or in your message? If it's in the .frx, then probably the $7997.00 belongs to the summary or group band, and then you should examine the summary or group band. Something there may be printing some (Fortran? :) chars your printer doesn't like. Adjusting lines/page depends on fontsize now, and if you ran this ASCII, it probably assumes standard 6 lpi, then it depends on your standard paper size (66 lines for USnA, 72 for most of the rest). You may take a look at the page setup, but if it works for other reports, I doubt it may have been set otherwise for this one. Are there any records after this? What happens if the repord should get few lines more? Fiagnosing a printer problem over the phone is pain enough; shouting over the ocean seems to be worse :)
