I have been using this technique for some time. Les Pinter has asked me to write an article on this subject for his website, which is almost completed. There are many good ways to approach this problem and I would be interested to see what others have come up with. The approach I took uses an ActiveX control to stream data between the client and server and includes the ability to run local, on a LAN or over dialup.
