Darn..
I was afraid of that. I picked up a Visual Basic 6 book lastnight, I am reading through it. This project has many advanced parts, and I don't want to dwell on certain parts. I suppose there are no easy work-arounds. The hardware can take streams of any speed. It has to be 8-bit though. I need to program several million bytes though. I emailed JSPayne 3 days ago, still there is no reply.
Thanks for you help, do you have any further advice?
