Hi,

I have been programming in Visual FoxPro for the past four years using the Visual FoxExpress 6.0 framework for the past two years. The company I was working for went bankrupt and I am hoping to find a company that is using VFE6 or is planning on using VFE6 in the near future who needs a programmer in Austin, Texas. I am in the process of moving my family to Austin as I type this. I would like to continue my skills with VFE6 with a company who is using this excellent framework. I would like to join a company that is in the process of converting older, legacy apps to Visual FoxPro-Client/Server using the VFE6 framework. I also would like to join a company that I can grow my skills with the latest technologies.

I also have extensive experience using Crystal Reports, XCase, and various ActiveX controls. I have been involved in converting a VFP table based app to a Client-Server app (VFE6 framework) using SQL-Server 7 as the backend database for the past year. I have been programming in XBase since 1983 starting with dBase and ending with Clipper 5.2. I created my first FoxPro application in 1996 using FoxPro for Windows 2.6. I moved to Visual FoxPro 5 in late 1997 and have created several applications since that time.

Please let me know if you know of an opening in the Austin, Texas area that could use my skill set and using the tools I have described.
