We have an automation server (several others are running fine) that only seems to want to run when the client is running from within the VFP command window. The application is very small, one form which accepts user parameters on when to kick off the process that is run as an automation server. Every 24 hrs, at the appropriate time, that form, run from the client, kicks off the automation server process. The whole thing works fine when the client app is run through the VFP command window, but if the app is started outside of VFP, by dbl clicking on the exe in explorer or via the desktop icon, it does not work. Anyone ever see this before?
