I try to change the parameters on a remote view and I get an error message when I try to save the remote view:

Base table fields have been changed and no longer match view fields. View field properties cannot be set.

The base table fields are in SQL Server 2000 and I know they have not been changed. I have tried deleting and creating the view from scratch with the same results. I don't get the error if I don't set a filter on the view. I am setting a filter on a field that is a SQL Identity field which is my key field. Any ideas.
