>I created a database with SQL 7 and then moved it to SQL 2000. I now can't save any of my remote views in VFP6 - get error message that base table fields have been changed. Are there any issues moving from SQL 7 to 2000. I thought this was a problem with one remote view, but now it looks like it affects all remote views for this database??

Do you view definitions use SELECT *?

If so, the new database probably has extra fields in the table in question. YOu just need to open each view in the view designer and reset the updatable properties and save it.
