Some (but not all view definitions) use SELECT *. I have tried removing a field from those selected to force it to specify fields in the view definition. Didn't help. I can't save ANY view that has a filter specified. If I remove the filter, no problem. Delete the view, recreate it with the view designer and add a filter, won't allow me to save. I recently updated to VFP 6 SP 5. I also am using SQL Server 2000. I didn't have a problem like this with SQL 7. Any ideas?
